For the last year we have been
hearing a lot about being earth-friendly and going green. We here at
Big Sky Sewing Kits (BSSK) want to help you do your part. Making and
then using a BSSK will allow you to reuse a market sac at the grocery
store several times for many years, we use very durable materials. You
could use a tote bag instead of a plastic grocery sac for transporting
anything. So Go-Green with BSSK this year!
Medium Anyone?
After a few suggestions from our
valued patrons we have developed a new size duffle bag; we will now be
offering an extra small, small, medium and large Big Sky Duffle Bag. We
are also developing two new kits; a boot bag so you can store and
transport your boots and a fun expandable bag so it can grow as your

Circle Relief
One of our most loyal customers
and long time user of BSSK has made a wonderful suggestion to making
the sewing of the circles go much smoother for you and your students.
If you have access to a 1/4” presser foot for your sewing machines
utilize it for those bag ends. You don’t even need to pin when
using the 1/4” foot; just slow down and ease all the way around
and voila a perfect circle. No need to worry about the change in seam
allowance either; we here at BSSK have tested the method and boy will
it save some headaches!
Available on the website this
year as well is a downloadable order form. Hopefully this saves you
from running around to make a copy of the one in the
newsletter.
